Announces Jessica Ann as the
34th Annual Island Fest Poster Artist

Presented by the Islamorada Chamber of Commerce, the two-day Island Fest will feature live music, a showcase of young entrepreneurs from the Keys, vintage cars, and a variety of fine art and crafts. The festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, March 28 & 29, at Founders Park.

Recognized as the 2026 poster artist is painter Jessica Ann whose work, “Flamingo Flock captures the vibrant color, movement, and tropical spirit that define Islamorada.

We are excited to announce that Jessica Ann is this year’s Island Fest poster artist. Her vibrant artwork, Flamingo Flock, beautifully captures the color, movement, and tropical spirit that define Islamorada. Bold brushstrokes and flowing forms bring the flamingos to life, reflecting the energy and charm of our island community.

Flamingo Flock celebrates connection, rhythm, and the natural beauty of coastal life, inviting viewers to experience the playful elegance of one of the Florida’s most iconic birds. The composition and rich palette evoke a sense of warmth, creativity, and island joy.

Judy Hull, Executive Director of the Islamorada Chamber of Commerce, shared her excitement about this year’s selection. “Jessica Ann’s artwork is striking and full of life. We are thrilled to feature Flamingo Flock as the official poster for Island Fest.”

Jessica Ann’s work is known for its expressive style and vivid use of color, drawing inspiration from coastal environments and the natural world. Through her art, she captures moments that feel both energetic and timeless, making Flamingo Flock a perfect representation of Island Fest and the spirit of Islamorada.

Island Fest, a beloved tradition in Islamorada, is set to draw thousands of visitors and locals this year. The event will feature live music, art exhibits, food, and drinks. Jessica’s Flamingo Flock poster will be officially unveiled at the festival, where she will be available for signings. Festival-goers will also have the opportunity to purchase posters at the Chamber Booth and take home a piece of this exciting event.

This year’s Featured Artist Showcase will present a diverse collection of artists whose work reflects the color, character, and coastal inspiration of the Keys. From painting and sculpture to photography and mixed media, festival-goers will have the opportunity to discover exceptional artwork, meet the artists, and experience the creativity that makes Island Fest such a vibrant and inspiring event.

Lourdes Bover

Lourdes Bover is a Mexican artist based in Miami, Florida, whose career spans more than three decades of continuous artistic exploration and professional achievement. Her extensive experience has led her to exhibit in numerous galleries, art festivals, and curated shows, where her distinctive style and technique have earned widespread recognition.

Lourdes is celebrated for her innovative approach to painting, incorporating fine sand onto canvas to create striking texture, depth, and dimensionality that bring her compositions vividly to life. Each piece is meticulously crafted using very fine sand sourced from the beaches of Cancun, Mexico — a meaningful connection to her former home that adds both visual character and personal significance to her work. The result is artwork that not only captures attention but invites viewers to experience a tactile sense of movement, light, and atmosphere.

Festival-goers will have the opportunity to explore Lourdes Bover’s captivating creations at Island Fest, where her richly textured pieces will be showcased alongside this year’s exceptional lineup of artists.
